About
Foucault’s Television: A Blog about Pleasure, Power, and Knowledge is written by Lester Feder, an over-educated and under-employed writer and musician. Originally from Virginia, Feder is the author of the now-neglected dissertation, “‘Song of the South‘: Country Music, Race, Region, and the Politics of Culture,” former frontman and songwriter for the short-lived band, Hot Coffee, Mississippi, and a refugee from the world of political communications and the academy. He is now a student in Columbia University’s MA program in Political Journalism.
